Detailed measuring instructions​​​

• Assemble your rod

• Lay the rod on the right rod support in such a way, that the grip of the rod is touching the support and the blank is laying on the support

• Bring down the excenter on the left side so that the rod is secured

• Switch on the laser and fix the rotating wheel in 0° position with the pin

• By rotating the excenter, align the tip of your rod with the laser beam

• Remove the pin and rotate the laser to the 3.75° position. secure the disk by inserting the pin into the appropriate hole

• Now load the tip of your rod until it crosses the laserbeam.Best load is a beaker attached with a paperclip to the tip ring and slowly filled up with anything on hand (water, rice, or ...)

• Weight the beaker with its load and paperclip and type the weight in gram into the left yellow background field under the header "weight at 3.75°"

• Remove the pin and rotate the laser to the 15° position. secure the disk by inserting the pin into the appropriate hole

• Now load the beaker until the tip of your rod crosses the laserbeam.

• Weight the beaker with its load and paperclip

• Weight the beaker with its load and paperclip and type the weight in gram into the right yellow background field under the header "weight at 15°"

• After entering the weights measured weights into the two fields the exact line weight required for your rod (with one decimal) and information about the action of your rod will be shown in the appropriate fields
